Meet the AuthorGary Andrews was raised in Corinth, MS. Through a
loving and close knit family of his parents, four brothers, and one
sister, he came to know Jesus personally at the tender age of 12.
Even though on occasions he has wandered from the straight and
narrow pathway the Lord provides, he has always known the Truth,
the Light, and the Way. His initial conversion experience was real
and remains intact today. He met his wife, the former Mary Linda
Williams of Hattiesburg, MS, in 1967 when he was stationed at
Keesler Air Force Base. After a three year long distance
relationship, including a one year tour of duty in Thailand and
Vietnam, their love for each other remained strong and they married
on August 22, 1970.Asking Christ to be the head of their household,
this marriage has produced four children and now six
grandchildren.Andrews has been in the newspaper and magazine
business for over 35 years. For the last nine years he has been
editor and publisher of the Yazoo Herald in Yazoo City, MS. His
love for this profession has produced a great ministry to many of
his readers through his weekly devotionals. He also has columns in
other publications, many under his pen name of Andy Grant.Contact

Three old friends seek to address a crisis of faith by attending an
interfaith conference of the world's three great monotheistic
religions. Among leading Christians, Muslims and Jews, they find
meaning, romance and violence on a biblical scale.
An engaging religious polemic wrapped in the familiar mantel of
a murder mystery, "No Gods Before Me: The First of the Commandment
Mysteries," is imbued with the most relevant Biblical and Quranic
verses, revealing the scriptural roots of the current world
conflict.
Respectfully and intelligently representing the views of
humanists and religious believers alike, this book explores answers
to questions like: what do the astrological disciplines teach about
past and future history; what does God expect; what does the Bible
teach on evolution and abortion; who was Jesus and what really
happened on Golgotha; what do Jews await in the Messianic age; what
does the Quran teach on jihad and on women's rights; what is the
emotional root of the dispute between Christianity, Judaism and
Islam. A must read for all those secure in their beliefs!
Dr. Dresden leaves no stone unturned as he navigates through the
exciting world of the development and practice of an obstetrician
and gynecologist. From start to finish, his story is wrought with
startling revelations and shocking exposes.
His journey uncovers the needs, hopes, anticipations and
expectations of men who choose to become physicians and, later on,
obstetricians and gynecologists. He deals, without evasion, with
the compromises that must be made in a physician's personal life in
order to first learn and then practice his chosen profession.
He explores, in stark detail, the life experiences that motivate
men to strive to serve women's medical needs. He uncovers the
self-serving and abusive nature of medical training and the
resultant waste, inefficiency and danger. He confronts the flaws
and dangers in the medical delivery system that threaten our
expectation of quality medical care. He exposes the rot,
self-interest and hypocrisy that pervade the political power
structure of hospitals and medical societies. Lastly, he uncovers
the power that drug companies can exert to control the pricing and
delivery of pharmaceuticals and concomitantly keep physicians in
line.
The task is monumental and the author has met the challenge.
